Giving back is part of the job.
We support education, culture and community projects with money, time and expertise. We don’t do it for the marketing. We think companies owe something to the places that make them possible.
Where we help
Three fields, close to home.
We’d rather do a few things well than a lot of things for show, so our commitment is focused on three areas.
Cultural activities
Concerts, exhibitions and small cultural venues. Culture is what makes a place worth living in, and it rarely pays for itself.
Social engagement
Local Vereine, neighbourhood initiatives and volunteers (Ehrenamt). Often the most useful support isn’t money but time and know-how.
Our largest commitment
A company of its own: Brigid Education.
Occasional donations help. A permanent institution helps more.
That’s why our commitment to education has its own company. Brigid Education awards scholarships and educational support with clear criteria, published deadlines and a fair, transparent application process, so that talent, not background, decides who gets a chance.
How we choose
What we look for in a project.
We receive more requests than we can support. These criteria help us decide fairly, and help you judge whether it’s worth asking.
- A clear goal, and a realistic plan to reach it
- A lasting effect rather than a one-off moment
- Transparent organisations that can show where support goes
- Something we can contribute beyond money
- Close to where we live and work
- No party-political or religious campaigns

We review requests regularly and answer every one, including the ones we have to decline.
